Draw me a house

Here is my first screen printing project: my somewhat "dream" flat.
It all started with a basic drawing that I did of a victorian house from my neighbourhood. I then re-drew it in Illustrator (yay blob tool) and added the interior. Here is the result:

Back in the screen printing studio, I started by inking a few sheets in black, which is probably not the usual way to go... but hey I'm experimenting!
I've then applied my two colours using one stencil for the outside of the building and the second one for the interior.
I think it turned out pretty well but if I decide to print this one again I will probably print my black background using a negative of the interior stencil. This way the magenta/ pink will stand out a lot more, as it will be printed on white.

Bravo! Ta future maison ressort vachement mieux sur fond noir! ;)

  2. I'm on fire! :D)
